Watching the sun set
over the horizon
The rays spreading a
hue of orange red across the sky
What a beautiful sight
it is
Reminding me of those
wonderful walks we had
On the beach, watching
the sun set over the water
Hand in hand, planning
our future.
But as the sun set, so
did our future.
Hope is there
Just like the sun
rises, so will our future rise again.
